Terms and Conditions
BASIC OUTLINE OF POLICY
(a) If you cancel more than 28 days before your booking, there is a $30 administration fee payable per room only.
(b) If you cancel within 8 – 27 days, 50% of the full room tariff is refundable. If you paid half of your room rate as a deposit, your deposit will not be refunded. We will however try to retain your deposit for an alternative date (within 3 months) if possible.
(c) Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. The full room tariff is payable. If you fail to arrive for your booking, you will be liable for the full booking cost.
(d) Special Cancellation Policy applies to public holidays. Please contact the Resort for more information.
(e) A 1.5% transaction fee is payable for all credit card transactions. Accounts can be paid via EFTPOS or Cash. Cheques are not accepted.
DETAILED OUTLINE OF POLICY
If you have issued your Credit Card details as a means of reserving the room and no deposit has been given or taken, and, section b or c or d above applies, then Maleny Views Cottage Resort reserves the right to Debit your Credit Card for the expected cost of the room booked by you.
If you have paid a deposit by cheque, cash, EFT or any other means and you cancel on the day you are due to arrive or there is no prior notification of cancellation and you fail to arrive, then Maleny Views Cottage Resort reserves the right to retain the deposit paid. In cases where the deposit does not cover the actual loss incurred, Maleny Views Cottage Resort reserves the right to issue an invoice for the balance.
If you have issued your Credit Card details as a means of reserving the room and no deposit has been given or taken, and you cancel on the day you are due to arrive or there is no prior notification of cancellation and you fail to arrive, then Maleny Views Cottage Resort reserves the right to debit your Credit Card for the full amount of the expected room cost.
In all situations described above, where a deposit has not been paid and credit card details have not been issued, Maleny Views Cottage Resort reserves the right to issue an invoice for the appropriate amount.
Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or check-out is by arrangement only.
Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of departure (if not already done so). Payments can be made by Cash, MasterCard, Visa or EFTPOS. Personal cheques are not accepted.
No visitors are allowed in rooms after 10pm. Any damage to the room or property may be charged, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable.
Pool opening hours are 7am to 7pm. Please respect the privacy of other guests by adhering to these hours.
Maleny Views Cottage Resort is a NON-SMOKING establishment. If you do smoke inside, you will be charged appropriate cleaning charges. Cooking of odoriferous foods (i.e. fried food, fish & some seafood’s) is not permitted in the motel. Charges may apply for extra cleaning and deodorizing and may be charged to your credit card (or an invoice issued to you) to ensure prompt payment within 7 days.
All breakages must be paid for. In the event that wilful damage to the property occurs or breakages to furniture or fixtures occurs that is a result of more than just normal/reasonable wear and tear, Maleny Views Cottage Resort reserves the right to charge the relevant guests the relevant replacement costs and any expected loss of income.
